I was searching for some nice videos of my country for a friend of mine, and when I found them I liked them so much that I thought I would share them on my blog so everyone could see them :)
Argentina is located in the south east extreme of South America. It is the eigthth-largest country in the world.
It is divided into 23 provinces and an autonomous city, Buenos Aires. My city :)
It is bordered by Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil and Uruguay (clockwise from west to north-east).
Here, can you see all the neighbour countries?
The weather varies greatly across the country, but in short it is:
North: Hot weather; South: Cold
West: Dry weather; East: Humid weather
Buenos Aires :)
Now, can you see on the map, that huge yellowish province to the east, labeled "Buenos Aires"? Well, that is the province of Buenos Aires. Not to be confused with the City of Buenos Aires!! Within that yellow area you will see a smaller label, "Buenos Aires" with a black dot...That's my city.
North-west
The next video is a trip across Salta province! See what I mean? This part of the country has a drier climate than Buenos Aires, and its climate is hotter. I chose this province as an example of a north-west located city because my grandmother used to live there long ago, and she told me it is beautiful. To spot Salta on the map, go to the northern part. On the west you'll find a purple, somewhat U-shaped province. That's it. Enjoy!
North- east
Hot, humid weather!! Welcome to the jungle! LOL =P
This vid is about Misiones (tiny pinkish-coloured province to the north-east, on the map above).
The city of Iguazú, which is mentioned, is located where the three countries meet: Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina.
